Vintage Native American Navajo Grandmother Indian Doll

Beautiful attention to detail describes the Native American dolls made by Cathy C. Crandall from her “Earth Dolls” series. This Navajo Grandmother doll is from the 90’s and is 20″ tall. One of a kind.

This doll is dressed in traditional Navajo clothing with a purple velvet tunic style top, cinched with a Concho belt over velvet green skirt. The body is made of cloth and the hands, head and feet made out of clay or “earth”.

Her hair is in traditional Navajo style made of soft mohair. Her jewelry is made of silver and glass seed beads and turquoise stones. The knee high moccasins are buckskin.
